My name is Federico Gomez, I am a Colombian digital artist. I am working as independent designer for 14 years under the pseudonym of Valiente Latino. I am a university professor in areas related to art, communication and design, I have experience developing creative processes of design and production of images for advertising, editorial and press. I have an excellent ability to create and solve graphic problems in all areas of production. In my work the photography is present as a fundamental axis and it is an input for the development of content of all kinds, but I also use painting and illustration as techniques to develop high performance concepts that can contribute in an effective way in the image of different companies. I like brand development, print and textile design, I have experience in art direction and advertising photography, I have also worked in documentary and 2D animation projects. I have been teaching at different universities in areas such as photography, digital image theory, art history, aesthetics, layout, retouching, digital illustration and corporate design. I am passionate about the theory of image, queer art and digital expression in all kinds. I love being able to explore different techniques and combine them with the new procedures and also I love to take risks in order to pursuit my goals.
